Job summary

Grundfos in the United Kingdom seeks a Product Development Engineer to build and maintain telemetry server applications across the full product lifecycle within our SaaS platform.

You will join the Metasphere Product Software team, delivering robust telemetry solutions and real-time insights from connected systems. 3–4 years of software development plus DevOps and REST/API experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• 3–4 years of software development experience building server-side applications.
• Proficient in Java or C, Python and SQL with PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on DevOps and CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Docker, Git and Linux scripting.
• Experience with REST APIs, Agile/SCRUM, and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Own tasks across the full product lifecycle for telemetry server applications: design, development, documentation, testing, CI/CD, deployment and maintenance.
• Investigate and resolve complex SaaS telemetry issues from diagnosis to resolution.
• Contribute to stable, operational SaaS environments including server administration and infra improvements.
• Provide clear, technically sound support to operations and customers via tickets and direct investigation.
• Integrate partner technologies into end-to-end telemetry solutions and support knowledge transfer across the value chain.
• Produce well-documented code, tests, and user-facing materials; share knowledge within the team.
