Job summary

QED Legal LLP in West Kirby is assisting a well-established law firm to recruit a Residential Property Solicitor / Residential Conveyancer to join its established residential property team. The role requires handling a caseload from instruction to completion and offers hybrid working and a salary up to £45,000 DOE.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ PQE, strong knowledge of residential property law, and excellent client care skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' PQE or equivalent residential conveyancing experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
• Experience managing residential property transactions from instruction to completion.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Strong organisational and case management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• Experience dealing with lenders, estate agents and third parties.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Commercial awareness of the residential property market.

Responsibilities

• Taking instructions from clients and providing clear, practical legal advice.
• Managing residential property transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
• Dealing with sales, purchases and related conveyancing matters.
• Liaising with clients, lenders, mortgage brokers and other solicitors.
• Reviewing contracts, searches, surveys and mortgage offers.
• Advising on property ownership and related legal issues.
• Ensuring lender requirements are met and risks are managed.
• Keeping accurate records and diarising key dates.
• Contributing to business development and client relationships.
