Job summary

Transport for London is seeking a Reporting Analyst to turn data into actionable insights and support a shift to automated BI reporting solutions. You will join Contact Centre Operations (CCO) and help deliver strategic intelligence that informs senior decision-making.

In this role you’ll work in a team of up to 6 analysts to develop CCO operations, embed the voice of the customer, and drive continuous improvement in data quality and reporting processes. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Experience producing accurate performance reports and dashboards within operational, customer-focused environments.
• Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel; experience automating manual reporting, particularly using the Power Apps suite.
• Technical proficiency in Power BI and Power Query, with a strong understanding of best-practice data preparation techniques aligned to Fabric adoption.
• Able to interpret complex datasets and present clear, actionable insights that support operational and strategic decisions.
• Confident communicator with experience engaging stakeholders, gathering reporting requirements and presenting findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality dashboards, management information, and performance reports to support decision-making.
• Provide interpretation, commentary, and insights on operational and customer trends.
• Embed BI tools and automate reporting processes to reduce manual Excel reliance.
• Deliver proactive, customer-focused insights from queries and feedback to inform planning.
• Ensure GDPR-compliant reporting and advocate good data governance across TfL.
