Job summary

Sage Homes is seeking an experienced Service Charge and Rent Manager to lead the rent setting and service charge function from our Northampton office. You will manage a specialist team, ensure charges are accurate, compliant and transparent for residents, and report to the Head of Service Charge and Rent.

The role is based at our Northampton office 3 days per week with 2 days remote if required, offering opportunities to influence financial governance and resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience managing service charge, rent setting, housing finance or leasehold management within housing/property.
• Ability to lead, coach and plan workloads for a specialist team.
• Strong understanding of Rent Standard, Shared Ownership, leasehold requirements and service charge legislation.
• Excellent analytical and financial skills to interpret data and identify risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Service Charge and Rent team to deliver accurate, compliant charges.
• Oversee annual rent reviews and service charge cycles in line with regulations.
• Manage relationships with agents and stakeholders, driving value for residents.
• Ensure governance and compliance across all rent and service charge activities.
• Drive process improvements, reporting and resident communications.
