Job summary

Honeywell Leicester is seeking a Commissioning Engineer Renewables to manage site testing, startup and handover of gas reduction and metering projects in the UK and Ireland.

The role includes factory acceptance, field commissioning and coordination with clients, subcontractors and project managers. It offers a hybrid model (3 days in Leicester, 2 days from home) and travel across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in E&I, E&C, Mechanical or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role in the process control industry.
• In-depth knowledge of flow measurement and regulating gases; familiarity with metering products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test procedures and reports for factory acceptance tests and site commissioning, and manage resource allocation during testing.
• Represent the company on site; lead, coordinate and troubleshoot with project managers, clients and subcontractors.
• Control budget, manage on-site installation checks, loop checks and functional testing; execute commissioning of systems.
