Delta Capita seeks an Intelligent Automation Engineering Lead to accelerate AI adoption across engineering teams and client environments. You will provide technical leadership to design, deliver and scale AI solutions while guiding teams through the full AI solution lifecycle.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering, architecture and product teams, across Azure/AWS, Python and modern engineering practices, within a hybrid/remote London setting.

Qualifications

• Strong background in software/platform/cloud engineering or technical consulting.
• Experience delivering enterprise-grade technology solutions in large-scale environments.
• Knowledge of Generative AI concepts: AI Agents, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, RAG, Tool/Function Calling.
• Experience supporting SDLC across engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with Python and modern engineering practices.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to balance innovation with business needs.
• Experience with Agile delivery environments.

Responsabilités

• Identify, assess, and deliver AI and automation opportunities across the organisation.
• Provide technical guidance on Generative AI and related technologies.
• Advise development, infrastructure, architecture and product teams across the AI lifecycle.
• Facilitate technical discussions with client teams on architecture and delivery approaches.
• Support engineering teams across Python, Azure, AWS, infrastructure and enterprise apps.
• Review designs for scalability, security, resilience and maintainability.
• Advise on AI governance, security, privacy, compliance and responsible AI.
• Promote engineering best practices, SDLC governance and reusable patterns.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Security, CloudOps and Product teams to align with standards.
• Support teams through design, development, testing, deployment and operations.
• Evaluate emerging tech to improve productivity and outcomes through AI.
• Drive knowledge sharing and capability development across teams.
