Job summary

Abingdon and Witney College is seeking a Recruitment Advisor to join our People Team. This role supports the attraction, recruitment and onboarding of staff across academic and professional services roles, managing multiple vacancies end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.

You will publish adverts, conduct initial screening, coordinate interviews, and oversee pre-employment checks, onboarding and records in our HR system, while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, recruitment administration, talent acquisition, or HR recruitment.
• Exceptional administrative accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple recruitment activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for a range of vacancies.
• Produce and publish recruitment adverts across platforms.
• Screen candidates and shortlist before submission.
• Manage candidate applications and HR records accurately.
• Schedule interviews and assessments with candidates and managers.
• Support pre-employment checks and onboarding activities.
• Advise managers on policies, best practices, and compliance.
• Maintain recruitment data and ensure legislative compliance.
• Build relationships with candidates, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Support campaigns to attract diverse talent.
