Job summary

Amey is seeking a Permanent Project Manager - Rail/TFL to join the Eastern & Southern team in London. Hybrid role: 37.5 hours/week, in-office 4 days a week.

You will deliver multidisciplinary contracts on TfL IIF framework and other Amey projects, building lasting client relationships and ensuring project success from initiation to handover. The role offers exposure to rail infrastructure improvements, competitive salary, and career growth through structured development and training

Qualifications

• Experience managing multidisciplinary projects.
• Budget management for large schemes (£250k+).
• Knowledge of CDM and health & safety practices.
• Familiarity with planning systems (e.g., P6).
• IOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create project initiation documents, plans, and quality plans.
• Set objectives and conduct regular 1-1s with reports.
• Manage risks, issues, decisions, and lessons learned.
• Monitor health, safety, environment and regulatory compliance.
• Forecast and report financial performance; explain variances.
• Oversee third-party resource engagement per Amey policies.
• Coordinate post-project reviews and develop case studies.
