Job summary

Amey Ltd is seeking a Permanent Project Manager - Rail/TFL to lead small to medium multidisciplinary contracts on the TfL IIF Framework in London. The role is 37.5 hours with hybrid working and office presence four days per week.

You will manage project initiation, set objectives, monitor progress, and ensure safety, quality and financial performance while building strong client relationships. You will contribute to continuous improvement, prepare case studies, and support future bids.

Qualifications

• Project management experience in a multidisciplinary construction environment.
• Full project cycle experience from concept to handover.
• Good knowledge of the Railway/Trams Operating Environment is desirable.
• Understanding of the design process.
• Experience managing projects of £250k+.
• Strong financial acumen and budgets management.
• CDM understanding and planning systems experience (P6).
• IOSH or equivalent safety qualification and IT proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create Project/Programme Brief, PoaP, PID, Communication Plan and Project Quality Plan.
• Set and monitor objectives for direct reports with regular 1-1s.
• Document critical success factors, acceptance criteria and customer quality expectations.
• Maintain logs for issues, risks, decisions and lessons learned.
• Oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure third-party resources are engaged per Amey procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and other regulations.
• Forecast and report monthly on financial performance against plan.
