Job summary

Bimplus, a well-established construction consultancy in Loughborough, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the team and develop your career in a supportive, professional environment. This role offers long-term progression and exposure to a range of projects.

You will deliver pre- and post-contract QS services, support senior staff, manage your own workload including cost planning, tender documentation, valuations and final accounts, and liaise with clients and contractors to meet cost, quality

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor in the UK construction industry.
• Experience in consultancy, contractor or client-side environments.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related discipline.
• MRICS or MCIOB status is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of construction costs, procurement and contract administration.
• Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support cost estimates, procurement, tender analysis, valuations, change control, cost reporting and final accounts.
• Attend project meetings and liaise with clients and contractors to align cost expectations.
• Assist in ensuring projects meet cost, quality and programme targets.
