Job summary

Transport for London invites applications for a 12-week Quantity Surveying Summer Placement Scheme in London. The role operates in a hybrid pattern, typically balancing office and home time so that roughly half of the period is remote.

You will work within a project team to upgrade infrastructure and deliver value for money, with exposure to procurement and commercial processes across TfL projects. Successful candidates will be in their penultimate year of a RICS-accredited degree in Quantity

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of a RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• On track to achieve a minimum 2:2 classification.
• Right to work in the UK for the duration of the scheme; no sponsorship under Skilled Worker visa.

Responsibilities

• Work within a project team to upgrade London’s infrastructure and deliver value for money.
• Support procurement and commercial activities to contribute to TfL projects.
• Visit other sites and gain a wider understanding of the full Procurement and Commercial function.
