Job summary

Transport for London (TfL) offers a Civil Engineering Summer Placement in London with hybrid working options. The 12-week programme gives you exposure to multiple engineering domains and the chance to contribute to real projects.

You will work within dedicated teams, receive mentoring, and participate in introductions to engineers across disciplines. Applicants should have completed at least one year of study and be on track for a 2:1 in ICE-accredited Civil Engineering programs.

Responsibilities

• Work within Engineering teams such as Infrastructure Protection, Highway Structures, Railway Structures, Geotechnical, Tunnels, or Pumps & Drainage.
• Introduction sessions to meet engineers from a variety of teams.
• Gain meaningful work experience towards becoming a professionally qualified civil engineer with mentoring and support.
