Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) is seeking a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join NHS Talking Therapies in St Albans and Hemel Hempstead. Appointment to a QPWP depends on current PWP accreditation; offers may be made on a Trainee basis until accreditation is confirmed.

The post is hybrid with at least two office days weekly and up to 10% of clinical contacts outside 9–5.

Qualifications

• Talking Therapies (IAPT) Graduate OR equivalent Post Graduate Certificate.
• PWP registration with BABCP or BPS or eligible to apply.
• Evidence of working with people with mental health problems.
• Ability to meet targets and work in Primary Care Services.
• Capable of managing a caseload and time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• PWPs work with High Intensity Therapists to support step 3 groups.
• Promote the service and deliver group webinars where possible.
• Attend the office for two days a week and enable blended remote working.
• Participate in a full internal CPD program throughout the year.
