Job summary

Netbox Recruitment is partnering with a leading organisation in East Kent to recruit a Purchase Ledger Controller. This hybrid role offers free parking and a salary of £30,000-£38,000 DOE.

You will oversee the full accounts payable process in a high-volume environment, manage invoice processing, coding, approvals, payment runs and supplier reconciliations, and contribute to month-end close and audit activities.

Qualifications

• Evidence of strong supervisory Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger experience.
• Experience managing invoice processing, coding, approvals and payment runs.
• Confident handling supplier reconciliations, queries and discrepancy resolution.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics desirable.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, VAT/tax and financial controls.
• Experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations and audit.
• Ability to manage cash-flow/payment forecasting and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive approach to process improvement and automation.
• Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders across teams.
• Hands-on role with ownership of the purchase ledger and driving improvements.

Responsibilities

We are partnering with this fantastic organisation to source an experienced Purchase Ledger Controller to join a busy Finance function, overseeing the full accounts payable process in a high-volume environment.

Key skills & experience:

• Evidence of strong experience in a supervisory Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger role
• Strong experience managing invoice processing, coding, approvals and payment runs
• Confident handling supplier reconciliations, queries and discrepancy resolution
• Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics desirable
