Job summary

Medway Public Health invites applications for a Programme Manager to lead a dynamic portfolio within the Healthy Places and Communities team. The role is hybrid, requiring in-person and remote work, including attendance at face-to-face meetings and events across Medway.

The post holder will work strategically with system partners to reduce health inequalities, address social determinants, and improve population health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Essential criteria at level A are required for appointment.
• Medway Council is not able to provide a Certificate of Sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues, partners and staff groups to build productive relationships.
• Engage stakeholders in service design to deliver accessible, equitable person-centred services.
• Adapt to change, manage uncertainty, solve problems, and set clear goals with accountability in complex environments.
• Manage programme schedules, resources, budget and scope with a robust change-control process.
• Interviews will be conducted face-to-face.
