Job summary

Pertemps in Cardiff is recruiting an experienced Paralegal to join a well-established legal firm. The role focuses on supporting the property team with transactions, document preparation and client liaison in a hybrid setting.

Salary ranges from £26,000 to £28,000 per annum depending on experience, with a Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm schedule and a hybrid pattern (3 days from home, 2 days in the Cardiff office).

Qualifications

• Previous property experience is essential.
• Experience in a legal environment, ideally within a property or conveyancing team.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
• A professional and client-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Providing paralegal and administrative support to the property team.
• Assisting with property transactions and maintaining accurate legal documentation.
• Preparing, reviewing and organising legal documents and correspondence.
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other relevant parties.
• Maintaining accurate client files and ensuring records are kept up to date.
• Monitoring transaction progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Supporting the team with day-to-day legal administration.
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and in accordance with firm procedures and relevant legal requirements.
