Pear Recruitment is seeking an experienced Property Manager for Hampstead. You will manage a portfolio of around 150 properties, acting as the main contact for landlords and tenants and ensuring timely handling of queries, maintenance and transactions.

Qualifications

• Ideally ARLA Propertymark qualified to Level 3.
• Basic knowledge of heating and hot water systems, plumbing and electrical.
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to problem solve and manage your time.
• Enjoy being part of a team all working towards a common goal.

Responsibilities

• Manage your Property Portfolio ensuring landlords and tenants receive the highest level of service and support.
• Liaise with the branches to ensure all properties are ready for move in.
• Deal with routine or emergency maintenance promptly, coordinating with contractors, landlords and managers for new builds.
• Respond to internal and external complaints promptly and effectively.
• Ensure accounting procedures for contractor invoices are followed and request funds where necessary.
• Ensure clear liaison between Landlord and Tenant and other teams.
• Verify contractor insurance and certifications and maintain records.
• Handle insurance claims with relevant parties, arranging estimates.
• Inspect properties, submit reports to landlords and follow up on required works.
• Assess deductions from deposits and negotiate with landlords/tenants or escalate to Tenancy Deposit Scheme if needed.
• Maintain communication between Property Management, Lettings, Accounts and overseas offices.
• Collaborate with team to meet landlords' and tenants' needs and uphold service quality.
• Follow ARLA Propertymark guidelines.
