Job summary

United Utilities in Warrington is seeking a proactive Operational Property Surveyor support role. You will manage your own caseload, advise internal teams and external stakeholders, and contribute to efficient asset management within a collaborative team.

You will work on major property projects, liaise with stakeholders, negotiate rent reviews, inspect tenanted properties, and help ensure compliance with leases and covenants in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• A relevant surveying degree is required, ideally APC (RICS) accreditation.
• Strong understanding of the property market and UU practices.
• Confident communicator with written and verbal skills.
• Skilled in negotiation with resilience and organisation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and property systems (Horizon, SSRS, ArcGIS, SAP).
• Full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Support senior team on major property projects and contribute to successful outcomes.
• Provide a professional property service to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Proactively manage your own caseload of property matters.
• Represent the Operational Property team in EPLA responses.
• Maximise rental income by monitoring rent reviews and lease renewals.
• Conduct inspections of tenanted land, including residential properties.
• Demonstrate flexibility and strong communication in a changing environment.
