Job summary

KBR in Reading/Bristol/Plymouth offers hybrid work and a role as Planner. You will develop, coordinate and implement plans for civil/infrastructure projects, coordinating with engineers and managers to meet timelines and budgets.

The position requires knowledge of project management methodologies, CPM networks, and risk management. You will monitor progress, update plans, and support continuous improvement of PM processes within KBR.

Qualifications

• Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of engineering and commercial aspects of major civil/infrastructure projects.
• Experience with CPM networks, resource and cost loading and risk management techniques.
• Ability to monitor progress, identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring activities are defined, monitored, and controlled.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans with project teams.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders, including senior management.
• Ensure deadlines and budgets are met and projects are delivered on time.
• Provide guidance to teams to follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain records of project activities and update plans as required.
• Participate in project reviews and contribute to process improvements.
