Job summary

Progressive Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager to lead site operations, environmental consents, permissions and planning on major infrastructure projects in Warrington. This 12‑month contract (Inside IR35) offers hybrid working and a pivotal role across multidisciplinary teams, contractors and stakeholders within a nuclear environment.

You will manage planning, CDM compliance, HSE embedding, risk and change control while coordinating diverse contractors to deliver safe, compliant outcomes

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex site-based work packages from initiation through delivery.
• Strong planning and scheduling to coordinate multiple activities.
• Skilled in risk identification, assessment and mitigation.
• Experience managing scope changes and formal project controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex site-based work packages from initiation through delivery.
• Coordinate planning and scheduling across multiple concurrent activities.
• Identify and mitigate risks to safety, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Manage change control and its impact through formal project controls.
• Provide clear progress reporting and ensure governance compliance.
• Apply CDM regulations and site controls to ensure safe delivery in a nuclear environment.
• Embed health, safety and environmental requirements and support surveys and investigations.
• Coordinate contractors and multidisciplinary teams across technical disciplines.
• Support consents, permissions and site access planning.
• Administer NEC contracts using CEMAR or similar tools.
• Maintain effective stakeholder communication with key parties.
