Job summary

Egis Group, via Omnia Projects in the UK, is seeking a Project Engineer/Manager with 5+ years’ experience in electricity transmission/distribution. You will design, plan and deliver projects from feasibility to completion, ensuring compliance with Grid standards and licences.

You will lead project teams, manage stakeholders, prepare cost proposals and supervise contracts, with hybrid working and regular site visits across the North of the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering Project Manager activities in electricity distribution/transmission.
• Strong technical knowledge across distribution asset classes including LV, 66kV, substations and civils.
• Experience managing major projects and high-volume workstreams over £5m value.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Use and comply with client procedures, business systems and data/asset systems.
• Undertake site investigations and develop compliant engineering solutions and designs.
• Produce firm cost proposals, quotations and validated connection offer estimates.
• Specify, order and manage equipment, plant and supplier/contractor interfaces.
• Review designs, ICP submissions and supplier tenders; attend FAT and witness testing.
• Project manage works to time, cost and quality targets.
• Administer contracts, tenders, mobilisation and contract management.
