Job summary

ADAS Archaeology, part of RSK Group, is seeking a Project Manager for a hybrid role based out of flexible UK offices. The role combines field-based work with office coordination, client liaison and micro-management of projects across archaeological, geoarchaeological and environmental contracts.

The successful candidate will lead teams, manage safety and quality, develop schemes and deliver on time and within budget, while maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business

Qualifications

• Ambitious and highly motivated with strong communications and time management skills.
• Experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced commercial archaeology context.
• Degree-level education or higher in a relevant subject; MCIfA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of archaeological fieldwork and post-excavation, including mobilisation, team leadership, client liaison, invoicing and tracking.
• Oversee tendering, programming, quality control and approvals for projects.
• Maintain and grow the company sales pipeline by building relationships with existing and new clients.
• Provide regular progress and safety updates to Senior Management; brief field teams clearly.
