Job summary

ScottishPower in Cambuslang is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Engineering Project Management Team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role covers feasibility to detailed designs for 132kV and above, with a focus on civil, plant, OHL and cables, delivering compliant engineering solutions.

You’ll work with multi-disciplinary teams, support budgets and tender assessments, and promote health, safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (or equivalent) and progressing professional membership
• Experience delivering engineering solutions for high-value/complex plant projects
• Ability to write clear technical reports and documents

Responsibilities

• Coordinate basic and detailed engineering specifications for civils/main plant/P&C/OHL/cables and other equipment
• Assess engineering documentation, feasibility and budgets for new projects
• Provide technical input to System Construction Authorisation, project specs and BETTA documentation
• Support tender submissions and bid evaluations with engineering input
• Ensure designs comply with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
