Job summary

South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service in Sheffield is seeking a Project Support Assistant on a contract basis. You will assist Project Managers with documentation, monitor progress, and help prepare regular updates for senior management and Fire and Rescue Authority Members.

The role supports liaison with Project Managers to identify issues and to prepare exception reports, while providing guidance on the SYFR project management methodology. This position offers hybrid working with 1 day remote.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with the preparation of their project documentation.
• Monitor the progress of projects and prepare regular programme updates to senior management and Fire and Rescue Authority Members.
• Liaise with Project Managers to identify issues and prompt preparation of exception reports and updates.
• Provide advice and guidance on SYFR project management methodology.
