Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Bristol is seeking a Project Controller to oversee the control and delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects within a hybrid work model. You will monitor, report and manage project performance against baselines, KPIs and risk registers, engaging with stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery.

The role requires a degree or equivalent experience, active professional development towards APMP/ PMI, and at least 1 year in project work with strong process

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience.
• Member of a professional body and working towards a APMP qualification or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in a relevant discipline, preferably on project work.
• Working towards APMP / PMI qualification or equivalent (or assessed as possessing equivalent knowledge / experience to the same standard).
• Experience in the development and / or implementation of project management processes and lifecycle, and a good knowledge of the project control processes.

Responsibilities

• Effective delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects or aspects of project portfolios.
• Report the status of projects / project portfolios in accordance with the requirements of the project.
• Manage and report variances to project baseline and report project Key Performance Indicators.
• Review project data, identify and report trends, highlight anomalies and propose corrective action if performance is outside specification.
• Ensure effective controls are implemented in accordance with the company management procedures to achieve the project success criteria.
• Accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders in accordance with the defined timescales
• Facilitated and manage risk and opportunity activities.
