Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems in the UK is seeking a Project Controller to coordinate with Project Managers and Control Account Managers. You will scope requirements, build WBS/OBS/RAM, and create resource-loaded schedules to ensure milestones are met within budget.

The role covers finance, risk management, change control and bid support, with hybrid working (3 days in office). We offer a compressed nine-day fortnight, a career development plan, and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Creating and maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project, use them to effectively manage and report progress on a project.
• Excellent Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Can create, maintain and report risks using a risk management tool
• Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred

Responsibilities

• Scope management: work with Project Managers to scope project requirements into a coherent WBS, OBS and RAM and analyse impact of changes.
• Schedule management: produce resourced, time-phased schedules with critical paths and baselines to meet milestones within budget.
• Finance management: track expenditure, analyse trends and estimate final costs, reporting deviations from baseline.
• Risk management: create and maintain risk registers and conduct regular risk reviews with owners.
• Change management: manage changes to scope, schedule and cost as needed.
• Bid support: provide schedules, resource demand and cost estimates for bids in line with process
