Job summary

Computershare in Bristol is seeking a procurement professional to lead category management for Corporate Services (People, Marketing, Travel). The role requires delivering savings, managing demand, contracts, vendors, and program delivery with data-driven insights to drive efficiencies.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to implement procurement initiatives, strengthen supplier partnerships, and support the function as a competitive advantage, risk management, and cost control driver.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Category Management functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Finance, Operations, or related field.
• Project management qualification or significant hands-on project management experience.
• Knowledge of procurement category strategies and the relevant supplier landscape.

Responsibilities

• Support the Category Manager/Director in developing and executing sourcing strategies.
• Conduct category analyses and market research to identify savings opportunities and vendor-tail reduction.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key day-to-day stakeholders, other category and procurement teams, suppliers and external partners.
• Manage global stakeholder groups to ensure smooth project delivery and timelines.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to achieving strong business results.
• Identify suitable suppliers, new solutions, and emerging market trends.
• Negotiate key contract elements, including pricing, terms, and lead times.
• Develop and manage supplier KPIs/SLAs and monitor ongoing supplier performance.
• Analyse spends and product mix to identify opportunities for standardization and alignment with business needs.
