This predominantly compliance-focused role involves managing a portfolio of private client tax returns, reviewing technical quality, delivering excellent client service, and supporting trainees within a collaborative environment.

• Ability to review personal tax returns for technical quality.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of private client tax compliance cases.
• Reviewing personal tax returns for accuracy and technical quality.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, delivering excellent service.
• Supporting and developing trainees and junior team members.
• Collaborating with senior leadership and colleagues across the tax team.
• Ensuring deadlines are met and workflows are managed efficiently.
• Providing occasional support on advisory projects where appropriate.
