You will support a growing private client tax team, working hybrid and liaising with clients to optimise tax outcomes.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent qualification, strong UK tax knowledge, and excellent client communication. Salary £50,000–£57,000 plus benefits and leave.

Qualifications

• A professional qualification in accounting or tax, such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA.
• Proven experience in personal tax compliance and advisory work.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation.
• Excellent communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A proactive approach to identifying and solving client tax issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review personal tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Offer tailored tax advice to individuals, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
• Assist in managing client relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
• Support senior team members with complex tax planning projects.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client tax efficiency and savings.
• Contribute to the training and development of junior team members.
• Stay updated on tax legislation and communicate any relevant changes to clients and colleagues.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive client solutions.
