Job summary

Progeny is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join the Private Law team. You will advise on wills, trusts, succession planning, and probate, and work with the Wealth Management team to provide integrated solutions. You will manage a varied caseload, prioritise client service, and ensure regulatory compliance.

This role is hybrid, located in Leeds or Nottingham, and involves mentoring Trainee Solicitors and Paralegals while contributing to team growth.

Qualifications

• PQE of 2-4 years in private client law.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to assess needs and establish advice.
• Attend client meetings to progress cases and finalise documentation.
• Take client instructions and draft relevant documents.
• Instruct barristers or specialists for court appearances in complex disputes.
• Maintain effective billing and financial controls for the department.
