Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Principal or Associate Public Health Design Engineer to join the MEP discipline team on rail projects across the UK. You will be responsible for producing detailed and performance specifications for the Public Health design and coordinating with the BIM/CAD team to develop the PH design in the 3D model.

You will review the completed 3D model to ensure coordination with all disciplines and produce the calculations for PH design, ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and pride in work produced.
• Understanding of building regulations and British Standards for PH design.
• Ability to work with Bentley Microstation, RevitMEP or other 3D design software.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed and performance specifications for PH design.
• Provide BIM/CAD mark-ups for PH design in the 3D model.
• Review 3D model for coordination with MEP, Fire, Architectural and Structure.
• Produce calculations for Public Health design for allocated projects.
• Ensure PH design complies with industry standards and client requirements.
