Outsource UK is recruiting a Principal Civil Engineer to lead design and delivery across major urban development and infrastructure schemes in the UK. The role emphasises technical leadership in drainage, highways, utilities and site development.

You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating design teams to ensure high-quality, compliant solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status or working towards chartership.
• Strong experience in civil engineering and urban development design.
• Proven knowledge of drainage, highways and utility infrastructure.
• Experience using MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM processes.

Aufgaben

• Leading civil engineering design activities across a range of development projects.
• Managing the production and review of drawings, BIM models, reports and technical specifications.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary design teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Overseeing project planning, resource allocation and programme management.
• Managing design risk, hazard logs, assumptions registers and design decision records.
• Attending and leading project meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Providing technical guidance, leadership and mentorship to engineers, technicians and apprentices.
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with quality, safety and engineering standards.
