Co-op Group in Manchester is looking for an Assistant Pricing Manager to join our Pricing team on a 12‑month fixed-term contract. The role blends home and office work in a hybrid setup, supporting pricing decisions that shape category strategies across stores and online.

You’ll analyse data and trends to provide actionable recommendations, partnering with buying, Finance and Insight to keep us competitive and deliver value to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience using data, reporting and analytical tools to generate insights and support pricing decisions that deliver value for customers and the business.
• Experience in a pricing, finance or commercial role, with an understanding of how pricing strategies influence sales and profitability.
• Ability to build strong relationships across teams to influence stakeholders and support commercial decision‑making.

Responsabilités

• Help shape category pricing strategies that deliver great value for customers and support commercial goals.
• Partner with buying teams to understand cost changes and make informed pricing recommendations.
• Build pricing models and use data to guide decision-making across categories.
• Carry out competitor and market pricing reviews to stay competitive.
• Be at the heart of pricing conversations and influence stakeholders with your recommendations.
• Lead pricing initiatives from analysis through to implementation.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Insight, Operations and Technology teams to deliver pricing activity and projects.
• Continuously look for new ways to improve how pricing, data and insight serve customers and strengthen performance.
