Job summary

eps.recruitment is seeking a Practice Bookkeeper in London with hybrid working. You’ll join an established accountancy practice and advance from day-to-day bookkeeping to year-end accounts, VAT, and partnership tax returns for a varied client base, including sole traders and partnerships.

You’ll manage ledgers, prepare accounts, and oversee outsourced work, while maintaining accuracy and deadlines. The role offers a supportive culture and progression opportunities with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Bookkeeping experience in a practice setting.
• AAT Level 4 or ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Strong IT skills and attention to detail.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Run client bookkeeping and management accounting across Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
• Produce accounts and VAT returns for various client structures.
• Maintain ledgers, process journals, and finalise accounts.
• Prepare partnership tax returns.
• Oversee work passed to outsource providers.
• Keep data accurate and deadlines met.
