Job summary

McKenna Townsend is seeking an Account Manager with PR and social media experience to manage diverse client accounts from Ringwood. The role blends office-based work three days a week with two days remote, offering flexibility and travel opportunities for international client support.

You will develop campaigns, write compelling content, and manage client relationships while collaborating with the wider team to deliver integrated results.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in PR, including social media management.
• Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
• Creative thinker with ability to contribute new ideas.
• Strong team collaboration and communication across teams.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise across multiple accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain excellent client relationships and media contacts.
• Copywriting for press releases, articles, blogs and social content.
• Plan and implement comprehensive PR programmes and campaigns.
• Manage day-to-day social media channels for clients.
• Represent the agency at client meetings and present briefs back.
• Collaborate with the wider team to deliver integrated campaigns.
• Understand clients' marketplaces to drive results-based campaigns.
• Identify new business opportunities, both organic and new.
