Job summary

Are you a creative PR professional ready to take ownership of your accounts and deliver campaigns that make an impact?

We’re recruiting on behalf of an award-winning PR, marketing and social media agency looking for a confident PR Account Manager to join its Hampshire-based team.

This is an opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of accounts, develop creative campaigns and work closely with a collaborative team. You’ll combine strong writing skills with an organised, proactive approach, taking campaigns from the initial brief through to delivery and reporting.

You’ll manage day-to-day PR and social media activity, build strong relationships and confidently present ideas and campaign results, with scope to shape the role as you progress.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering PR programmes and campaigns.


• Writing and editing press releases, articles, blogs, marketing materials and social media content.


• Building and maintaining strong relationships with account contacts and relevant media.


• Managing social media channels and content delivery.


• Taking briefs, developing proposals and presenting recommendations.


• Tracking campaign performance against KPIs and reporting on results and return on investment.


• Working with the wider team to deliver integrated PR, marketing and social media campaigns.


• Developing a clear understanding of each account’s market, audience and objectives.


• Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and support new business development.

You’ll bring at least three years’ PR experience, including social media management, alongside excellent copywriting and editing skills. You’ll be confident managing multiple accounts and competing priorities, bringing fresh ideas and a creative approach to campaigns. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills are essential, along with attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work. You’ll also be a collaborative team player who can adapt to changing demands and deliver to tight deadlines.

The role offers hybrid working, with three days in the office and two days from home, international travel and scope to develop within the role.
