Job summary

Forwardrole in the Manchester area seeks an experienced PR Manager to run the press office, deliver campaigns and build journalist relationships. You will work on CSR, AI/LLM visibility and creator partnerships, reporting to the Communications team and gaining coaching and clear progression from day one.

The role offers hybrid working (2 days WFH) with a generous bonus structure and a pathway to senior responsibility within a household brand serving hundreds of locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' PR, press office or digital PR experience (agency or in-house)
• Track record managing media campaigns from concept to coverage
• Experience with journalists, creators or event suppliers
• Strong written communication and external messaging
• Excellent organisation to juggle multiple live campaigns
• Sound judgement on reputational sensitivity
• Self-motivated with initiative
• Creative ability to turn data or moments into standout campaigns
• Comfortable collaborating with SEO, marketing and social teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR strategy and campaigns
• Manage end-to-end PR campaigns, including digital PR output
• Oversee press office activity: media inquiries, coverage tracking, journalist relationships
• Plan and manage fundraising and CSR events
• Produce external communications to promote and report on activity
• Collaborate with SEO on media relations strategy and content output
• Identify and recommend creators with Marketing and Social teams
• Communicate creator strategy results to the business
• Manage reputational risk in creator partnerships and messaging
