Job summary

PD&MS Group in Aberdeen, UK, seeks an experienced Power BI Developer to join the DS&T Team on a full-time basis. You will design, build and maintain Power BI reports and BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric and the MS BI stack.

You will partner with stakeholders to define BI strategy, create robust data models, ensure data quality, and manage deployment pipelines and data warehouses in a hybrid work setup with two remote days per week.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a relevant subject.
• Masters degree in a relevant discipline (preferred).
• Demonstrable experience in data preparation, data warehousing and BI projects.
• Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS and SSIS).
• Knowledge of other BI tools such as Tableau or SAP (preferred).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to define BI strategy, goals, and KPIs.
• Design and develop data models; integrate data from multiple sources.
• Create interactive Power BI reports and dashboards; develop DAX calculations.
• Set up deployment pipelines and automated data refresh schedules.
• Contribute to data warehouse and data lake design and governance.
