Job summary

Cancer Research UK is seeking a Power BI reporting analyst to design, develop and maintain high-quality BI reporting and data models for the organisation. You will partner with digital, marketing and operational teams to translate needs into robust Power BI solutions that drive fundraising performance and impact.

The role combines strong BI development with stakeholder engagement and project ownership, offering hybrid office attendance in Stratford with flexible weekly in-office days.

Qualifications

• Significant Power BI experience and advanced data models (star schemas).
• Strong SQL skills and ability to deploy data transformations for reporting.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar platforms is a plus.
• Excel expertise and data analysis techniques; detail-oriented mindset.
• Proven ability to lead requirements gathering and deliver BI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives and reporting needs.
• Design, develop and maintain Power BI datasets and reports.
• Build scalable data models (star schemas) for governance and performance.
• Write SQL queries in Snowflake to prepare data for analysis.
• Develop DAX measures and calculations for reliable outputs.
• Lead BI projects, deliver KPI reporting and drive insights across teams.
• Communicate findings clearly to enable data-driven decisions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation across outputs.
