Job summary

Cancer Research UK is seeking a Power BI Reporting Analyst to design, develop and maintain high-quality Power BI reporting and data models across the organisation.

Based in Stratford with hybrid working and 1–2 days in the office, you will collaborate with digital, marketing and operational teams to translate reporting needs into robust BI solutions that support data-driven decision making and fundraising activity.

Qualifications

• Significant experience using Power BI and data modelling.
• SQL querying experience; Snowflake a plus.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience leading BI projects with impact.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Understand business objectives with stakeholders and document BI solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain Power BI datasets and reports.
• Build robust data models (star schemas) for scalable reporting.
• Write and optimise SQL queries to prepare data for reporting.
• Develop DAX measures to deliver reliable insights.
• Lead BI projects and deliver KPI reporting to stakeholders.
• Communicate insights clearly to drive informed decisions.
• Resolve data inconsistencies and ensure governance and documentation.
• Collaborate across teams to improve data quality and tooling.
