Donard Recruitment Ltd seeks a Functional Specialist to assess disability claims under PIP. You will handle end-to-end caseloads with face-to-face, virtual, and telephone assessments, producing reports and reviews. Hybrid, full-time role with comprehensive benefits and ongoing CPD.

Starting salary is £39,500 plus a bonus, with increases on DWP approval. Benefits include a company laptop, pension, health and wellbeing programmes, and 25 days holiday (27 with service).

Qualifications

• Qualified professional in nursing or allied health (Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic).
• Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
• Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.

Responsabilités

• Manage caseloads from end to end, delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments.
• Prepare telephone assessments, initial review calls and paper-based reports (PBR).
• Provide unbiased, comprehensive disability assessments under PIP guidelines.
• Contribute to quality and performance targets within a hybrid work environment.
