Job summary

ExtraCare Charitable Trust in Coventry is seeking a permanent Student Practice Facilitator Physiotherapist to oversee the Student Practice Education Project across Birmingham and Midlands, coordinating student placements and evaluation with HEIs.

The role requires Band 6 HCPC registration, experience with students and older people, and strong collaboration within a MDT. Hybrid working is available; a car allowance supports travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with students and overseeing HEI placements.
• Experience with older people and developing treatment plans.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own transport desirable.
• Competent in computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the Student Practice Education Project and supervise placements across sites.
• Identify and allocate students with HEIs and develop placement protocols.
• Induction of students with MDT and academic staff; provide ongoing support.
