Qualifications

• Lead criteria: Previous physical security experience within security or similar field.
• Understanding of access control, intruder detection and CCTV systems and how they reduce risk.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for liaising with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and implement process improvements with initiative.
• Knowledge of confidentiality protocols and data protection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support management and protection of Met Office buildings, premises and assets, adhering to policies and regulations.
• Assist operational management of the Guardforce, monitor KPIs, maintain training records and coordinate between teams.
• Manage supplier and third-party contracts and ensure security systems are operational and SLAs are met.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure security measures meet business needs.
