Job summary

LCP in Winchester is seeking an associate consultant to join our pensions administration team. You will manage day-to-day administration of defined benefit schemes for several clients, ensuring tasks are completed in line with our guidelines and client requirements.

You should be well-organised with a good eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A structured career path and comprehensive training are provided.

Qualifications

• DB pensions administration experience within a consultancy environment
• Making good progress towards the APMI qualification
• Educated to A level and degree level or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration of defined benefit pension schemes for multiple clients
• Review work of junior members for accuracy and compliance with procedures
• Discuss current pension issues with client teams and flag potential risks
• Maintain knowledge of client rules and benefit structures
• Provide day-to-day client contact and ensure high service levels
• Support training and development of junior staff and assist with workload management
• Monitor internal communications for industry updates
• Assist with resourcing and peak workload planning
