Job summary

Primary Care Dietitians is seeking a maternity-cover PCN Dietitian to join Doncaster South PCN, delivering specialist dietetic care across 2–3 GP practices. You will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose and manage adults with nutrition-related conditions.

The role offers 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working, starting January 2027, and a salary band of £35,212–£50,056 per year for 1.0 FTE, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered dietitian with relevant post-registration experience.
• Evidence-based dietetic care for adult caseloads.
• Experience working in primary care or with MDTs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage adults with nutrition-related conditions.
• Provide personalised care plans considering patient goals and lifestyle.
• Support behaviour change to reduce unnecessary pharmacotherapy where appropriate.
• Refer to secondary care and community services as needed within pathways.
• Deliver consultations in person, by telephone or video; contribute to group education.
