Job summary

Reed in Redditch is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our friendly HR team supporting around 800 employees. You will manage end-to-end monthly payroll, handle timesheets and payroll queries, and process pension contributions using Sage systems.

The role offers a £30,000 salary, 1 day of work from home after probation, NEST Pension, Death in Service and 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. A proactive, detail-oriented team player who enjoys a collaborative office environment will fit well.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Confident using Sage Payroll.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
• Organised, proactive and detail-focused.
• Friendly team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end monthly payroll processing.
• Managing timesheets and payroll queries.
• Processing SSP, maternity pay, student loans and pension contributions.
• Producing payroll reports and reconciliations.
• Using Sage HR, Sage Payroll and Excel daily.
