Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and practical experience of UK payroll legislation.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients or multiple payrolls.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent client service.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of client payrolls as part of a collaborative payroll team.
• Act as the primary point of contact for an allocated portfolio of clients.
• Manage client payrolls from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support onboarding of new clients and payrolls, ensuring data is complete and accurate.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and enhance the client experience.
• Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships.
• Respond to payroll queries accurately, professionally and within agreed timescales.
• Keep up to date with changes in payroll legislation and ensure proper application.
• Liaise with HMRC regarding employer payments and payroll-related matters.
• Ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and provide support where required.
