Job summary

Nigel James Associates Ltd is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to provide high-quality technical and administrative support across the full financial planning process. You will work closely with Financial Planners and the wider team to prepare reports, conduct research, and assist with client reviews, while ensuring FCA compliance.

The ideal candidate will have prior paraplanner experience in an IFA or financial planning firm, strong organizational skills, and be capable of managing multiple

Qualifications

• Experience as a paraplanner in an IFA or financial planning firm is essential.
• Strong technical understanding of financial planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare suitability reports and recommendations for clients.
• Undertake research and analysis across financial planning products and investments.
• Prepare cashflow analysis and support client reviews.
• Process new business and progress cases to completion.
• Liaise with providers and third parties.
• Support Financial Planners with client meetings and servicing.
• Ensure all work adheres to FCA and internal compliance requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge on industry developments.
