Job summary

Blakemore Recruitment is seeking an experienced Paraplanner based near Gatwick. The role is hybrid and involves close collaboration with financial advisers to deliver high-quality planning solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, strong technical knowledge, and a track record of producing detailed suitability and annual review reports. Experience with pooled paraplanning systems and software like Intelligent Office, CashCalc, Genovo or FE Analytics is highly

Qualifications

• Previous experience in paraplanning.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Experience writing annual reviews and recommendation reports.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to write complex, high-quality reports.
• Understanding of financial services compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organisational skills and workload management.
• Research, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate client files.
• Research, prepare and document financial planning recommendations.
• Write detailed suitability, recommendation and annual review reports.
• Ensure all compliance documentation is complete and up to date.
• Conduct investment product research and due diligence.
• Support investment committee processes.
• Provide technical support to financial advisers and act as a reference point.
• Research and review financial products in the market.
• Support paraplanning colleagues and assist with coaching.
• Provide additional support to the paraplanning team as needed.
