Job summary

Recruit Wealth Ltd in Harrogate is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a collaborative, multi-adviser financial planning team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, holistic financial planning to clients and supports the paraplanning process from research to client reports.

You will work closely with seasoned Financial Planners, conducting detailed analysis across pensions, investments and protection, and ensuring compliance throughout the client journey.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Trainee Paraplanner or Paraplanner in Financial Planning.
• Strong knowledge across pensions, investments and protection.
• Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to research, analyse and communicate complex financial information.
• Professional, organised and proactive approach.
• Collaborative mindset and team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive technical and report writing support to the Financial Planning team.
• Take ownership of the paraplanning process from initial research to preparation of recommendations and client reports.
• Conduct detailed research and analysis to identify suitable financial planning solutions.
• Prepare clear, accurate and compliant suitability reports.
• Support Financial Planners with technical queries and recommendations.
• Analyse clients' financial circumstances and develop appropriate planning strategies.
• Support the full client journey, ensuring recommendations are documented and processed.
• Liaise with clients, advisers and administration to ensure a smooth service.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
